Holiday Accommodation & Location Details
With 13 secluded acres of tip-top countryside to roam around in, no-one could ever accuse Rainbows End in Bacton of being anything less than tranquil and calm. The grassy landscape, private beach and kiddies’ play zone are all major advantages to staying this lavishly well-appointed lodge park.
The accommodation here could be described reasonably as ‘deluxe chalets’ with sanded wooden porch areas overlooking the acres of clear and clean rural idyll not to say the sea. Common to all the chalets are double glazing, duvets, bedding and blankets provided from the start of your stay, bath and/or shower, well-appointed kitchen with lots of useful appliances and the opportunity for you to bring along your beloved pets to stay with you if you are prepared to pay a little extra surcharge. The diner-lounge area is handsomely open-plan, maximising space for you and all your party members.
The immediate premises of Rainbows End have much to recommend them. First off, there ar over 10 acres of untouched verdant greenery that you can stroll around as you please. When the sun’s up you can mosey on down to the private beach where the sand is powdery and the water is clear and blue. There won’t be too many other people down there because it’s private. The children can engross themselves in the special play area which contains roundabouts, swings and other classic infantile amenities.
Leaving the premises of Rainbows End will take you to Bacton Woods, a magical forested are where you can enjoy a good picnic and a laze around in the shade. The numerous waterways of the Broad can be explored at whatever pace you like, using Rainbows End as the perfect base. Further still is Norwich, the county capital and one of England’s most exciting provincial cities.
The tallest windmill in Britain, Sutton Windmill, is also accessible by car and it won’t take you long to get there either.
