Holiday Accommodation & Location Details

This family-run farm-cum-lodge park offers the best of both worlds and is less than 6 miles away from vintage York, a leading heritage centre of the north of England.

Stunning Lodges at Home Farm

Home Farm’s delightful lodges actually look more like little houses on American prairies than anything British, but that’s not to say they aren’t appointed to the highest possible degree. Quite the opposite indeed. The triple glazing will ensure that the cold never bites when you’re slightly out of season or the infamous English summer starts to get up to its silliness.

Large groups of under-25 year olds are frowned upon because this venue like to retain a quiet and peaceful air and family-friendly outlook to things. A veranda and barbecue make for the perfect al fresco entertainment combination and you can invite friends to these impromptu get-togethers as you make them on the site.

Discover more great places to stay with this range of log cabins to hire with hot tubs.

Discovering the Vale of York from Home Farm

On the premises there is a tempting little river where you can fish and picnic beside. Those who are prepared to journey further away will be lavished by York, historic home of English history, the Viking Jorvik Museum (which has won more awards than anyone cares to remember), fine restaurants, olde-worlde shops and a low-key but compelling nightlife.

Fancy heading over to one of the north’s fine seaside resorts? No problem, they’re just a few miles away. How about the redoubtable Castle Howard? Even nearer. Indeed there are so many satellite sites and activities clustered around Home Farm that you will have no problem filling a holiday of a week and even less of a problem filling a fortnight break.

Book from more log cabin self catering holidays & breaks across the Vale of York and the UK from our wide range.

If you want close access to the Dales and the North Yorkshire Moors, not to say the north of England’s finest manmade attractions then you’ll be needing the ideal base from which to set out on your expeditions. Home Farm should more than meet the case. Want to find more lodges in the Vale of York? If so then head to the main Holidayparkhol Vale of York  page here.
