Holiday Accommodation & Location Details
The quiet little village of Potter Heigham provides the setting for the Norfolk Broads Caravan Park. Located in six acres of stunning countryside, near to the Norfolk coast, this park is ideal if you are looking to explore the Norfolk Broads. Offering a perfect base of operations if you’re looking to go on a walking holiday, or take a closer look at the villages and wildlife in Broadland, the park offers comfortable accommodation at modest prices.
All accommodations feature a flat screen TV, a kitchen, a shower, and an additional sleeping area for up to two people. You are also permitted to bring one pet with you, in designated caravans. Being within the Norfolk Broads, you’ll have plenty to do. In fact, there is so much to be getting on with that you might struggle to fit everything in!
If you and your family simply can’t get enough of fresh air and the great outdoors, there are literally hundreds of different walks and strolls that you can take, all the while soaking in the tremendous beauty of the area. The great thing about the scenery in Broadland is that it varies from location to location, meaning that two walks are unlikely to be the same, and you’d certainly be well advised to bring your camera with you.
A slight variation on this activity would be to take a bike ride. Cycling is one of the most popular activities in the broads, and provides a new way to explore everything that it has to offer. For those who enjoy getting in touch with their wild side, the broads also has abundant opportunities to view the local wildlife or enjoy a spot of fishing.
The broads are the only place in where you can find one of the rarest and most beautiful Butterflies- the swallowtail. Other species of interest include the Norfolk Hawker dragonfly, the leopard reed moth or the water vole. With such a wealth of natural beauty and activities on offer, Norfolk Broads Caravan Park is the perfect place to stay for a comfortable break with a hint of the wild about it.
