Breydon Water, located in the lovely village of Burgh Castle, is a fantastic centre which provides easy access to the natural beauty of Broadland, which is only half a mile away. Also nearby are the famous attractions of great Yarmouth, which are only four miles away.
Pleasurewood Hills Family Theme Park and Somerleyton Hall or within easy reach as well. It may be easy to think that because the park is within reach of so many great destinations, that there will be little to do at the park itself. This could not be further from the truth. There are some fantastic facilities and activities on offer, and visitors would certainly be remiss not to take advantage of them.
The park is made up of two sites, Bure village and Yare Village, with visitors having access to the facilities on both sites, which are separated by a short walk along a country lane. Facilities available include a solarium, and indoor heated pool, a water resorts programme; children’s clubs catering to ages from under 5 up to 16+, an adventure playground and a soft play area.
There are plenty of activities for the whole family to engage in, such as an all-weather sports court, amusements and great performances at the family Showbar. There is also a waterside bar providing refreshing snacks and meals. A large number of walks and cycle paths exist in the Norfolk Broad, making it a perfect place to explore with the family. With unique wildlife that can’t be seen anywhere else, and some stunning scenery, the Broads are a perfect destination for a family day out.
As well as the Broads themselves, Broadland also contains some beautiful towns and villages that feature some historic sights, as well as providing access to some great shops. The most prominent example of these is Norwich, a fantastic Medieval city with a huge wealth of shops and history, with a number of activities available such as cinema and theatres. Breydon Water is a perfect location to explore everything that Norfolk has to offer.
