The Old Granary has been beautifully restored inside and outside. Inside there is a cottage style living room with comfortable sofas and Freeview TV this leads on to the kitchen area with a dining table. All of this area is open plan living space.
The kitchen is well equipped with a small fridge/freezer, cooker, microwave and all the essential every day items. The bathroom has a shower over bath, basin and toilet. There is one double bedroom which is nicely presented with comfortable bed.
Outside the cottage has nicely kept garden areas. If you enjoy walking then there are walks direct from the accommodation. There is a sheltered patio and the large well kept garden.
Nearby to The Old Granary
Within five miles of the accommodation is the market town of Barnard Castle. There is plenty to see and do in this area including great fishing on the River Tees, swimming pool, golf course, and a good range of shops, restaurants and tea shops.
There are plenty of sights and attractions in this area as well and this includes the High Force Waterfall, Eggleston Hall with beautiful gardens, bike hire and woodland walks. Also enjoy a day out at Bowes Museum. Other places to explore are the Yorkshire Dales National Park which is around five miles and the wonderful Hamsterley Forest.
