The lovely comfortable and spacious barn conversion is set within 80 acres of private farmland. From the barn there are stunning views across the surrounding countryside and the large floor to ceiling windows give you the best view.  The accommodation is accessed from a private road that winds through woodlands for over half a mile. A waterfall, river banks and woodland walks present the ideal spot to enjoy a stroll with your partner. The barn is also pet friendly so great for bringing the dog as well.

The barn is on the border of Northumberland and Cumbria and as such visiting the Lake District & exploring the North Pennines are great options for days out.

The accommodation is split over two floors. On the ground floor there is the living/dining room which has comfortable sofas, 28″ freeview TV, DVD player, beamed ceilings, wood floor and patio doors. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven, hob, microwave and a fridge. Stairs lead to the first floor.

On the first floor there is the double bedroom. The bathroom has a free-standing bath & toilet.

More Out and About from Knowe Head Barn

The heritage site of Hadrians Wall is close and the market town of Alston. Alston has a range of shops, pubs, restaurants, cafes and a steam railway. Alston is around seven miles from the holiday accommodation.

A little further afield is the Lake District which is around 30 miles, as are the Scottish Borders. The Knowe Head Barn really is the ideal place to relax for a couple. The nearest shop is at Alston around 7 miles and there is a pub 1 mile from the accommodation.
